WHAT IS A DENTURE SOFT LINER?
Soft Liners are used to increase chewing comfort in new or existing dentures. Soft liners are bonded to the surface of the dentures and rest on the oral tissues. I JUST HAD A TOOTH REMOVED. HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT TO HAVE IT ADDED TO MY DENTURE?
Ideally, it is suggested to have the denture tooth added prior to having a tooth extracted. The denture base acts as a splint, containing any swelling of the tissue when the tooth is removed. The extraction site tends to heal much quicker and usually with less discomfort. The addition of teeth to a denture after the tooth has been extracted depends on the location of the tooth, i.e. molars take more time to heal than front teeth.
