Mark Pino, DD

Owner / Denturist

Mark is a graduate of George Brown College (2007) and the owner of Sunshine City Denture Clinic and Newmarket Denture Clinic. With an unwavering commitment to patient care and satisfaction, he is known for his compassionate, honest approach and dedication to ensuring every patient feels comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smile.

He takes the time to educate patients and their families, helping them understand all available options—from dentures to implant solutions—so every decision feels informed and supported.

Outside the clinic, Mark is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, as well as travelling, fishing and staying active.

Bogdan Opinca, DD

Denturist

He developed a passion for dentures at a young age, growing up in a dental lab alongside his father, a dedicated dental technician. This early exposure shaped both his technical foundation and his appreciation for the impact that quality denture work can have on someone’s life. He later advanced his training in Italy with Zirkonzahn and graduated from the Denturist program at Oxford College.

Creating his first set of dentures for his grandmother was a defining moment that solidified his commitment to the profession. Today, he takes pride in helping patients restore their smiles with care, precision, and compassion.

Outside of his work, becoming a father has been one of the most meaningful experiences of his life. It has deepened his sense of responsibility and empathy—values that carry directly into how he cares for his patients each day.

Christine Griffin

Administrator

Christine brings over 40 years of experience in the dental field and has been a valued member of our team since 2022.

She is dedicated to supporting patients with kindness, care, and attention, helping ensure every visit is comfortable and well-coordinated.

Outside the clinic, Christine enjoys biking, boating, and hiking, as well as spending quality time with her husband, Brad, their family, and their beloved golden retriever, Missy.

Monica Lindner

Administrator

Monica brings over 40 years of experience in the dental field, with a deep appreciation for all aspects of patient care.

She joined Sunshine City Denture Clinic in 2021 and continues to support the team in a part-time role.

Outside of the clinic, Monica enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Stewart, their dog Carter, and a close circle of friends.

Kaan Ketir

Denture Technician

Kaan Ketir is a skilled Dental Technician with over five years of experience. He graduated from Istanbul Medipol University in Türkiye and further developed his expertise at Orthodent Toronto, gaining valuable international experience.

With a strong focus on quality and precision, Kaan is dedicated to crafting dental work that supports comfort, function, and confidence—making him a valued member of our team.
